Listings Details
The Listing Details section in Guestway allows you to control what guests see in the Guest Portal, independently from your OTAs.
The Listing Deatils is where you fine-tune visuals and essential stay information to ensure a smooth, professional guest experience.
You can access these settings by going to: Properties → Listings
From there, you’ll see all listings across your portfolio.
Listing Images
How it works
When a listing is connected to Guestway, we automatically pull images from the OTA (such as Airbnb). These images are synced so you don’t need to upload everything manually.
Inside each listing, you can:
Choose which image is set as the primary image
Add additional images specifically for the Guest Portal
The selected primary image is the one that will be displayed prominently in the Guest Portal, including booking confirmations and guest access pages.
Why this is useful
Control the guest experience: The first image guests see sets expectations for the stay.
Avoid OTA bias: The “best” Airbnb image is not always the most informative or relevant for an in-stay experience.
Consistency across your portfolio: Especially important for PMCs managing multiple brands or properties.
Support operational clarity: You can prioritize images that help guests recognize the property easily (building façade, entrance, key areas).
How to set or change the primary image
Go to Properties → Listings
Open the listing you want to edit
Navigate to the Images section
Select an existing image pulled from the OTA
Set it as Primary image
(Optional) Upload additional images if needed
Changes are applied instantly to the Guest Portal.
Wi-Fi Details
How it works
Guestway automatically pulls Wi-Fi information from the OTA when available. However, OTA Wi-Fi fields are often:
Incomplete
Inconsistent
Not formatted for guest use
To ensure guests have clear access instructions, you can manually add or edit Wi-Fi details in the listing and display them directly in the Guest Portal.
Why this is useful
Reduce guest messages: Wi-Fi questions are one of the most common inbound requests.
Improve first-day experience: Guests can connect immediately without contacting support.
Standardize information: Especially useful when managing listings across multiple OTAs.
Perfect for virtual agents: Clear Wi-Fi info avoids unnecessary back-and-forth in the inbox.
How to add or update Wi-Fi details
Go to Properties → Listings
Open the relevant listing
Locate the Wi-Fi section
Copy-paste or manually enter:
Network name (SSID)
Password
Save your changes
The Wi-Fi details will now be visible to guests in the Guest Portal.
Best Practices
Use clear, recognizable images as primary visuals (not overly stylized shots)
Keep Wi-Fi information simple and copy-paste friendly
Align listing visuals with your brand or operational standards
Review these settings when onboarding new listings or onboarding new virtual agents
