# How to set up your branding

This guide shows you how to put your logo, colors and company details on the guest portal and the emails that guests receive.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Before you start**

* You have permission to edit the branding profiles of your organization.
* Your company details, your color codes and your logo files.
  {% endhint %}

## Add your logo and colors

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Start a profile

Go to **Settings** → **Organization** → **Branding**, and start a new branding profile. Under **General Information**, fill in the **Name**.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Fill in your company

Under **Company Information**, fill in **Company Name**, **Full Address**, **Country**, **Website URL**, **Contact Phone** and **Contact Email**.

The guest journey needs a default branding with a company name and contact email before you can turn on protection.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Add the colors and logos

Under **Brand Colors**, enter the **Primary Color** and the **Secondary Color** as color codes, for example #1A2B3C. Under **Brand Logos**, upload the **Main Logo** and the **Horizontal Logo**. Under **Footer Information**, write the **Signature** of your emails.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

## Assign the properties

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Choose the properties

Under **Properties**, choose the **Listings** and **Multi-Units** that use this profile.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Save the profile

Click **Create branding**.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

If you run several brands, make one profile for each.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.guestway.io/guestway_onboarding/how-to-set-up-your-branding.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
