# How to connect your PMS

This guide shows you how to connect your property management system, so your listings, reservations and guests come into Guestway.

**Before you start**

* You have created your organization. See [How to create your organization](/guestway_onboarding/how-to-create-your-organization.md).
* You have a login of your PMS that can give access to other apps. Step *Connect your PMS account* says what each PMS asks for.

## Choose your PMS

### Start the link

Guestway shows *Almost done, now please link a PMS to import your organization info.* Click **Link a PMS**.

A new organization cannot skip this step: until a PMS is linked, Guestway returns to this screen.

### Choose your PMS

The **Integration Wizard** lists the PMS you can connect. Click yours. In **Integration name**, keep the suggested name or enter your own.

### Connect your PMS account

Follow the line for your PMS. Each line links to the full guide for that PMS in the Academy.

* **Apaleo:** in **Property ID**, enter the property code from the address of your Apaleo settings page. Click **Secure Login via OAuth2**, then **Authenticate**, sign in to Apaleo and allow Guestway access. For another Apaleo property, add another integration later. * **Guesty:** click **Use Client ID & Secret**, then the **Create** link. In Guesty, create the OAuth app and copy its client ID and secret. Paste them in **Client ID** and **Client Secret**, and click **Authenticate**. Full guide: [How to connect Guesty](/integrations/property-management-systems/guesty.md).
* **Hostaway:** click **Use Client ID & Secret**, then the **Create** link. In Hostaway, create an API key and copy the account ID and the key. Paste them in **Account ID** and **API Key**, and click **Authenticate**. Full guide: [How to connect Hostaway](/integrations/property-management-systems/hostaway.md).
* **Mews:** click **Access with API Key**, paste the access token of your Mews property in **Api Key**, and click **Authenticate**. Full guide: [How to connect Mews](/integrations/property-management-systems/mews.md).
* **Smoobu:** click **Access with API Key**, paste the API key of your Smoobu account in **Api Key**, and click **Authenticate**. Full guide: [How to connect Smoobu](/integrations/property-management-systems/smoobu.md).

### Set up email forwarding, for Apaleo and Mews

With Apaleo or Mews, the wizard shows **Email Forwarding**. Copy the **Receiving email**: you need it to connect Booking.com later. In **Forwarding email**, enter an address of yours; Guestway sends a copy of every email it receives there. Click **Save and continue**.

To do this later, click **Skip for now**.

Click **Finish**.

## Check the first sync

### Follow the import

Guestway imports your data in three phases: **Link a PMS**, **Sync components** and **Process components**. A progress bar and a table show what it imports, for example the listings and the reservations.

### Open Guestway

When the import is done, you see **All set!** Click **Go to application**.

If the import takes long, a link appears after 30 seconds: *Want to visit the application already, even though not all data is synced yet?* Click it to start working while the rest arrives.
